AGT star killed after friend fell asleep while driving

Jan 5, 2024 Dr Brandon Rogers, an America's Got Talent contestant, died after his friend nodded off behind the wheel and crashed into a tree in Maryland. The crash happened Saturday, but a crash report has revealed the driver told Maryland State Police he fell asleep while driving after a long shift at work, TMZ reported. He said he swerved off the road and hit the tree. Sources said the driver pulled both Rogers and another passenger in the back seat out of the car, but Rogers died the next day from his injuries.
