When the cast of The Real World: Skeletons auditioned for the show, they had no idea they were in for another twist like last season's The Real World: Ex-Plosion.
"As I was going through the audition process, I heard about the Ex-Plosion twist last season," 25-year-old Skeletons cast member Tony told E! News. "But I had no clue they were going to do it again this season. I was just going in with an open mind. I had my hopes up that it was just going to be a normal season. The seven of us really got along great and I wanted to keep it that way. But that clearly didn't happen!"
Skeletons cast member Sylvia, 25, even watched last season—twist and all—but thought the show would go back to normal this season.
"I thought, you know, they did the Ex-Plosion twist last season. They got the drama. They got the numbers back. They got the audience back," Sylvia told E! News. "But now it's the 30th season, the dirty 30, so maybe they'll bring it back to the original and have a normal season. But when we found out about the twist, when we saw our skeletons at the house, everyone was just in complete disbelief and shock."
